New Year

Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

Great is our God! Thank you Lord for a year unexpected with fiery trials unusual. Thank you for keeping us and comforting us throughout the year 2020. Your banner over us is love, your eyes are upon us and you respond to our call. Wonderful, Powerful, and Mighty are you God. Jesus the Anchor of our soul, Jesus the Intercessor for us, great is your love. You Are, You Are and God is, God is and will forever be! Amen.

As we enter this New Year, I ask you to enter in with a fast. This year’s fasting will be on Fortification for the year. We will be searching the scriptures on fortifying and words that define fortifying. I will post every day something for you to devote time to study on fortifying for the year. We will start on Monday January 4th at 5am and end on January 17th at 5pm. Everyday from 5:30am – 5:30pm you may not eat any food or drink anything besides water and 100% juice with no sugar added. From 5:31 p.m. to 5:29 am you may eat but watch your sugar and salt intake.

For those who are on medication, you may eat all day but strictly fruits, vegetables, 100% juice no sugar added, wheat or whole grain foods, nuts, dried fruit and baked tortillas made from wheat or corn. You may also have chicken or fish baked not fried with dinner. No soda, milk, creams or juice other than 100%.

For both fasts do not eat a lot of sugary or salty food during the time you may eat. Pray and meditate on the scriptures given each day. Please limit your music to gospel only and your tv to things that are edifying to the spirit or have not a lot of sinfulness for this time of fasting.

Have a Happy New Year! May the Lord strengthen you with might by his Spirit in the inner man. May he enlighten your eyes of understanding. The Lord bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you this year.

My next post will be Monday Morning.

Peace and Blessings,

Seer Apostle Nichole Reddick, Bishop of the Faith
