Even as we exercise the body which profits us only now, we must exercise devotion and piety towards God as Christians for it is the foundation and principal part of our true religion. We exercise godliness by acknowledging the truth, giving Thanks with the fruit of our lips, believing God, and other acts of devotion and piety. We are still discussing The Divine Knowledge. This week we are adding godliness to make us profitable and fruitful in the knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord. Many of us know what godliness is and if not you practice it without even realizing you have added this fruit to yourselves. It works beautifully in the lives of the believers and is marvelous in the sight of God. Sweet smelling savor in his nostrils.
